    @vangard213 ::: if a credit card/bank card has your name on it, it i.d.’s you. if someone steals that and uses it. they are i.d.ing themself as you. therefore your a victim of i.d. theft

    ID theft is a joke,it’s BANK FRAUD and CREDIT CARD FRAUD,not ID theft.If you notice in about all cases of so called ID theft it involves banks and credit cards,that is fraud.The banks were smart enough to label it ID theft so it throws the responsibility of the fraudulent debt onto the consumer in order to recover loss.Now if someone is pretending to be you and obtains a driver license or access to a building or something of that nature then yes it’s ID theft.

    that happend to my dad and he omost got in deep shit with the cops. some one opened up 3 credit cards with his name. and spent $40,000 but they were on his side becouse my dads credic score is very good.
