How Do I Report Child Identity Theft?
“I need to know how to report child identity theft please. When my wife was a child, her own mother stole her identity by using her social security number. She used that to get credit and sign up for utilities for her house. She did that because she had totally ruined her own credit rating due to being extremely irresponsible. The result to my wife has been that in her 20′s she couldn’t get her own credit and it took her almost four years to fix her credit because of her mom stealing her identity. So the reason I’m telling you this and need to know how to report a childs identity theft is because now I know of another mother that is doing the exact same thing to her own child and is no doubt ruining her childs chances of getting credit later. Does anyone know how I can report this?”
